Saint Pierre and Miquelon

The Territorial Collectivity of Saint Pierre and Miquelon (pronounced /ˌseɪnt piːˈɛər ænd ˌmɪkəˈlɒn/ in English; French: Collectivité territoriale de Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ pjɛʁ e mikˈlɔ̃]) is a group of small French islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, the main islands being Saint Pierre and Miquelon, south of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The islands are as close as 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Green Island, part of Newfoundland.
